6th February 2006

This morning I received a very interesting email from Chris Stretton.
It regards the imminent publication of ' CHURCH STREET, The gathering storm'.
Kidderminster Medical fraternity, old and new, will find it immensely interesting.
Pre ordering recommended via Amazon as on the following website

Good reading

Communication from Tony de Cothi,  President of Kidderminster Medical Society

Big thank you to Jan Meggy from the Medical Society

Jan is stepping down after 15 years in her role as lead for undergraduate bursaries.
She has done a tremendous job and has been instrumental in allowing undergraduate medical students to benefit from elective adventures they would otherwise have missed.
Jan came to Kidderminster General Hospital 40 years ago joining a team of exceptional surgeons including Walford Gillison,Douglas Tooms and Phillip Armistead.
She quickly established herself as an incredibly caring and capable consultant. She was popular with colleagues and patients alike and has been involved in delivering a significant number of local clinicians children!
She has been described as amazing to work for, by previous staff being both kind, clever and hugely respected.
She has been a huge supporter of the Medical Society through some of its most vibrant years both when working and since retiring.
I am sure we would all like to wish her a happy and healthy further retirement!
